Michael McCanne (he/him) is a New York based multi-disciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of politics, culture, and history. He holds a Master’s Degree in Cultural History from Goldsmiths University of London. He was a 2017 fellow at Tent: Creative Writing at The Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA, a 2018 resident at the Mount Lebanon Residency in New Lebanon, NY, and a 2020 fellow at the New Jewish Culture Fellowship

Jamie Weiss (he/him) is McCanne’s collaborator on the work featured in Material/Inheritance. Weiss is a Madrid based filmmaker, film producer and musician living and working in Madrid, Spain.

Jamie received his BA in Film at Boston University and a Master in Documentary and Experimental Film at TAI university in Madrid. His film work focuses on history, power and unconventional forms of rebellion. His films have been shown at festivals and institutions including: Documenta Madrid, Prismatic Ground (NYC), Curto Circuito (Spain) and the Oscar Niemeyer Museum (Brazil) among others.
